Neighborhood News/Activities/Events:

Neighborhood Working Group on Poverello Day Center:

• The neighborhood has responded to the announcement that the Poverello plans to open a day center at 516 Toole St. Please visit the group for more information.

Upcoming Meeting of Social Service entities to discuss the Poverello Day Center:

• The next monthly At-Risk Housing Coalition (ARHC) meeting will be held

  MONDAY, JULY 7, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Health Department

  conference room (2nd floor). The main agenda item is a discussion of the Poverello`s plans for a day center.  Ellie Hill and other Poverello staff will be there, and they are trying to have a board member come as well. It has been suggested that a non-ARHC facilitator conduct that portion of the meeting.  United Way has volunteered to obtain and pay for such a facilitator, so that is the plan at this time.
