- The Farviews Pattee
Canyon Parks Study: A Visioning and Implementation Tool for Park Land
Improvements in the Farviews Pattee Canyon Neighborhood has been
prepared by Wonder Land llc with funding from a Neighborhood
Projects Fund Grant . The study can be viewed on line or by
contacting a Neighborhood Council leadership team member. The study
proposes a Master Trails Plan to access and link parts of the
neighborhood park system using a connected system of trails. It also
proposes detailed plans for each of the neighborhood parks by
addressing park character and amenities.
- A Neighborhood Infrastructure/Growth Policy Task
Force is forming, to appraise
existing conditions and to develop a plan to preserve the experience of
living on the
hill. Please join. Help with research, discussions,
and engaging your neighbors regarding a Growth Plan for Farviews /
Pattee Canyon.
- Our Neighborhood Council has resolved to recommend to the
City Council of Missoula and to the Missoula Consolidated Planning
Board that the Hillside Design Standards be reviewed and substantially
amended in order to clarify the determination of building height; to
not allow in any cases construction of taller buildings (as seen from
the street) in Hillside Design Standards areas than in non-Hillside
Design Standards areas with the same overall zoning designation(s); to
require the same restrictions on vertical wall elements as in
non-Hillside Design Standards areas; and thus in practice, to support
rather than work against the objectives stated in the Hillside Design
Standards.
